Our nonprofit ministry is made possible by generous people like you, whose kindness makes Hannah’s Wish possible. When you support Hannah’s Wish you help a grieving parent, or a couple longing to be parents, know they aren’t alone.
We do this in a few ways. First we equip providers and hospitals with packets to give these parents. Whether it’s at the doctor’s office after finding out there is no heartbeat, a failed fertility treatment, or a D&C at the hospital, we want these parents to get our information along with a gift card for a warm meal. They will have a card in the packet that will tell them to text a number and their email to a phone number listed. Once they do that a gift card will be emailed to them to a restaurant who will deliver them a warm meal. We will offer to be by there side if that is needed and check up on them in the weeks and months to come.
We also have a support group that they can come to. No one is forced to share, just listening can be helpful. Therapists will be involved to be ready to help someone if they need further assistance. This group is all about helping these parents move forward and into a place where they might feel comfortable helping someone in the future. Healing starts with sharing.
Hannah’s Wish is a Christian non-denominational based group that will give these individuals a voice. It will let them know they aren’t alone and help them to move forward. We want to train those who are interested, to help others once they are at a point where they can do so. We like to see it go full circle. You need help, you get help, you begin to heal, you help someone else. Some people experience tremendous healing in helping others. It all starts with having a safe place where you can find help if you need it. A safe place to hear from ones who have been through it and who have been able to look back, and can give some insight. This can give hope. Hannah’s Wish is a peer led group, where networking with others who have been there can lead to all kinds of opportunities. Opportunities to help other’s after the healing begins. It all starts with a safe place to share.
When you support us you are helping these parents heal.
About Our Founder
Founders Jenna and Jon Wright have gone through years of secondary infertility (infertility after first child), and three consecutive miscarriages. Jenna has had in on her heart for years to help those who have been through what she’s been through. She and her husband both share a great burden for those who have experienced losses like this, and wanted to create a group and environment where someone can come share. Healing doesn't happen until we share. It wasn't until after Jenna's third loss that she was lead to a place she could get help and share. She noticed some holes in the system and wanted to help fix it. She found her healing in her faith in God and in helping others.
